this is odd... from what I can tell by looking at my filters, GB is marked as safe and since joining I have recieved one email just saying whats going on in the community - nothing about my submissions being rejected or approved or forum posts being made etc etc. everything seems normal on the email front....

I havn't done it since I don't have the NXE, but my guess is that it will be around 4-5GB hope that helps.

"Having not dealt with your submissions personally i can't really comment in detail as to why they were rejected however i can give you some general ideas and reasoning why we reject submissions from the queue.

• Plagiarism - The Wiki section of GiantBomb works on an "original content" basis where we only accept edits to articles that are original and have been written by the user in their own words and not copy and pasted directly from another source. Essentially providing links to source material is still not accepted. We want users to take the basic information of a game and then write it and word it themselves in their own style, not just copy and paste information directly from one source onto our Wiki section.
• Quality - When we get around to someones submission for an article we can view in the queue the current and proposed change for that article. And sometimes the proposed change just isn't as good as the current article for a page so we reject it.

These are the two biggest reasons for submissions being rejected i'd say and a lot of the time a reason should be given out i believe as to why it was rejected. But hopefully this can shed some more light on the issue for you and help you."

Even if I have cited the source? As I am typing this 2 other submissions have been rejected, both of which was work out of my own hands and not from another source... how come they were rejected?!!! :( this is not fair... all I am trying to do is add to this community... I really would like to know why they were rejected and who I can or should contact about this?!

Hi all,

I wrote a submission for a game (HL 2 mod) called Zombie Panic Source which gave a description/overview of the game, and what players are available and their abilities and advantages.

The information was basically taken from the games website and some changes made to it, however I left an end note in the articale describing this so people new that the info was legit.

I would just like to know why my submission was rejected and by who so I could maybe ask them my self. I have since re-written it and made a few more minor changes and am waiting again for approval.

I am not mad or anything, but I would just like to know why I was rejected so that in future it won't happen again.
