I played this last week at E3. The demo didn't give me much time, it only let me go around Kokiri Forest and parts of the Great Deku Tree, but I think people won't be disappointed. Then again, it's pretty hard to mess up Ocarina of Time.

The only problem I see is, it's the same game. I wonder if Nintendo could have hired a company to work on a new Zelda 3DS game rather than a remake. But the controls are a dream. As people might know, when you shoot deku nuts/arrows/etc. in this version, you move the 3DS around to look for your target. It sounds awkward at first, but it felt good when I tried it. And using the bottom screen as the menu is a perfect use of the second screen.

I'm giving my thoughts on every game I tried this week. Except for the fact I was using the new controller, this felt like New Super Mario Bros. Wii both from a visual standpoint and the controls. The same screen on the TV was seen on the controller. That itself doesn't bother me, but usually when Mario jumps to a new console, there is some difference in what the game looks like. There was no difference here.

Hopefully this was only a demo? I'd like the next generation Mario games, even if it's 2D, to look at least a little different. But I admit, it was still fun to play.

I think they should have just stuck with one direction throughout the entire game. It's a bit jarring to go from old style to new style....I should know since I played it. The best way to do this would have been to make 2 separate games and put them on the same disc, so you could get to choose which style and still call it Sonic Generations. But from the demo I played, it doesn't look like that's the direction. I haven't read enough about the game to know if there's a choice or not though.

Yoshi's Racing. There will be different Yoshis and the Mario characters will ride them. You can almost win but get eaten at the last second by the Yoshi behind you. Mario doesn't use whips, he uses fireballs to make the Yoshi go faster.

Well of course I made this up though lol.

The WiiWare section is where shovelware is thrown on a weekly basis.  You don't need a lot of storage space to make a classic game. Just look at Mega Man 9, it doesn't take up a lot of space, yet is one of the best games you could download on WiiWare. If more games like that came out, rather than shovelware directed towards non-gamers who don't even know the service exists, I'd be happy.

I'm one of those people that doesn't have a stand alone DVD player. I don't like buying multiple devices. If the Wii U can play games and movies, that would be perfect for me.

I think the design of the console looks almost too much like the Wii. Maybe it should have separated itself more.

It feels like every new technology these days has to deal with touching a screen.

I think it's a terrible name too, but it has people talking and that's what counts
