@alex You can click the left side of the touchpad to open straight to the item menu anytime, and down on the d-pad is a quick item use menu.

Also the sidequests are more than just rewards or things to check off in a menu, they have foreshadowing and such for main story events, or are their own little stories themselves. Some of the best events/writing/characters are in sidequests, not to say that the main story is any slouch, since it's amazing.

I love near the end where Vinny is just freaking out over the ground morphing covering his rollercoaster, as the monorail flies off the unfinished track continuously, sending people to their deaths constantly.

For a game so repetitive and whatever, the movement and combat is slick as fuckkkk. It's great.

Game seems like "Journey...but in the ocean!" and I can't really complain. Looks like a neat game to just chill and explore.

Played her a bit on the test region, she's fun as hell. It's a bit crazy on there, we had a 5 Ana/1 Reinhardt team and it was hilarious. Ana's ult turns Rein into a fucking killing machine, he can just hammer a whole team to death while an Ana just snipe heals him from afar. That stuff will probably all be adjusted before it goes live, but for now it was funny as hell.

Fuck, I loved the original Odin's Sphere and this update looks so much better. I can't even watch the rest of the QL because I don't have the money to get the game right -now-.

Although, if the framerate is improved compared to the PS2 game, it'll be weird fighting that skeleton boss lady and not have the framerate drop into the single digits, lol

Stubbs is really good, pretty much the only sauce I'll buy.

This is really impressive, especially for a first showing "pre-Alpha". There's a lot of really cool stuff going on.
