Since Austin said they have the documents to prove what he's saying, they should either release them, or explain why they can't. Furthermore, he should explain why he's providing anonymity to his sources. It might be obvious, but it also might not be. For example, maybe the sources want anonymity because this is all a PR stunt by Sony, but they want to have plausible deniability and make this seem like leak. That wouldn't be a legitimate reason to give them anonymity.
@warmonked: The story isn't absent, Drew is just literally skipping it; i.e. the tapes, which is the equivalent of skipping cutscenes in the previous games.
If the content of the tapes is so important to the game, why isn't it in cutscenes? You know, like in the previous four games.
I found this game to start off pretty rough around the edges especially the combat, but once you get some abilities it becomes a lot more enjoyable. Also anyone who says "It's like Dark Souls" is fooling themselves.
I felt that way at first, too. But after 5 hours I restarted the game and now the early-game combat doesn't feel rough to me at all. I just have a better understanding of how the combat works and what the limitations of the player and enemy characters are allowing me to perform better. I think part of my initial experience is due to having different expectations of the game's combat.
I love this game. The combat is really good and tight, but maybe not what one might expect it to be.
