@ripelivejam: Sekiro isn't impossibly hard. It has a steep learning curve but is eminently doable if you pay attention to what the game is trying to teach you. In my experience, it is also very rewarding instead of merely punishing.

That said, while some comparisons with Sekiro are made, I don't think it's true that people are 'constantly comparing it to Sekiro'. Most of the criticism seems to be about the stale quest design and structure as well as the appearance of the game.

Personally, I think the combat looks fun but the old school open world structure turns me off from it.

Kai Leng is such a dumb and poorly executed concept. Alex's initial reactions to him appearing are spot on.

The warrior monk is used to flying solo. That's a large part of what she told you during the game. Just like how the game has made it abundantly clear that Tali is a top notch mechanic/tech expert.

The Terminator Reaper is really dumb, though.

Alex's flip-flopping on the romance makes me wonder how that gets flagged for ME3 (I've never tried, in all my playthroughs).

@jstaunton: Different watching habits, I guess? It matters to me. Luckily, I could just watch the full six hour videos on YouTube.

Wait, did... did Alex flag a Liara romance, only to de-flag it when re-flagging a Garrus romance..?

Yup. I don't get how he read that response option as meaning "we'll talk about it later".

Kinda was hoping Vinny would hard hint Alex that he should just go get the IFF, there will be time to twiddle thumbs and do anomly missions after that and with a new friend

Depending on being okay with a certain less than optimal outcome, that's right. If you want to avoid getting that outcome it is actually a tricky affair if you're playing without consulting a guide because once you complete the Reaper IFF mission, a timer starts running (the initiation of that timer does vary with how many uncompleted side missions you have left, though) which will result in the death of most crew if you take too long "twiddling thumbs". Those deaths can be avoided if you go through the Omega 4 Relay quick enough.

What's the correct order of these videos? This is, evidently, not the first video of Nite One, but it is the first on that was posted. Can someone help?

Not to be that guy, but I hope Alex starts recruiting the other party members. A lot of the really good dialogue sections in ME2 comes from talking to your party members between missions. By not having Tali and the other two recruits you can already have on your party, you are potentially missing out on learning more about them. The general pattern is 1) Talk to your crew 2) Go on a mission 3) Check to see if your crew has anything new to say. I generally recall finishing ME2 for the first time without hearing what everybody had to say, because I was ran out of missions and stuff to do.

I would strongly recommend Alex recruit Tali and the other two party members before doing anything else, including random DLC. (I would also recommend Lair of the Shadow Broker towards the end of the game for.....reasons)

It's kind of weird to see how the first game didn't teach them this pattern. The rate they are going now they'll almost surely run out of mission before being able to complete all the dialogue in the game.
