I remember sitting down after work every day for one week hammering away at this until I beat it. I finished it and felt so empty; I liked all the characters and dungeons and bosses, but the story fell so flat, especially at the latter half. I don't know, maybe it'll be too difficult to top Wind Waker's ending for me.
@efesell: Oh no, I've seen the tiny shields. When it's paired vs side-by-side it seems to occur more frequently than paired vs one enemy regardless of shield level. That could just be me, I dunno
@boniti: Pairing up takes an interesting turn in these games. You can plop any two units together, but the secondary only acts to boost stats and provide occasional defense in combat (running in to block an attack). Only when your units stand solo side-by-side will they provide follow-up attacks (follow-up attacks will always? be blocked by a paired secondary).
I like it, I didn't think I'd like it because I was really a fan of Awakening's style, but it gives your units more opportunity to shine instead of just swapping around with their husband/wife.
