@jasonr86: @crosstheatlantic: I really don't understand the issue. Everyone has the internet, and if they don't, they're not going to buy an Xbox. I find it crazy that there are still, to this day, a whole bunch of people who can't connect their consoles to the internet.
Even when I take my 360 to a mates house for a LAN game, I can still connect to his internet. What situation are people in where they can't connect to the internet once every 24 hours?
In that case, look forward to your Xbox One's new doorstop functionality in 5 years when they turn off the servers.
Yeah, that's the biggest shitty thing about this for me personally. I can pull out my Genesis or N64 and still play games on them. Will we still be able to play Xbox One games 15-20 years from now? For some reason I doubt it, and that's a huge bummer.
To me it seems like most of it is the normal second wave discussion. For the first week almost everyone was riding high on just having beaten it and telling all their friends how good it is, discussing the ending, etc. Now it seems to be a mixture of people moving on to what could have been better (such as aspects of the combat, and a lot of story being hidden in voxophones), and those aforementioned friends finishing it and being kinda underwhelmed due to super high expectations of "Bioshock OMG play it so I can tell you about stuff!" from the first wave folks.
This seems to be the way that most games these days come out, but Bioshock: Infinite had a longer (and well deserved) honeymoon period compared to some others. I'm glad we can take our sacred cows down off the altar and ask what could be better about them.
I enjoy a crafting system if I think it's done well. If you have to explore out of the way caves or forests, it gives you a reason to explore an open environment. If you have to kill monsters, it gives you a reason to do your job ( like a Witcher should be doing.) It also makes it so they don't have to litter the world with chests that don't belong, or have a 2 foot monster carrying around human sized armor for no reason. And like others have said, I would rather craft a piece of cool gear than sell a ton of garbage to a vendor and buy one.
At the moment I'm a fan of Bronco + Shotgun + an upgrade that does shock damage around enemies that die by excessive force. A lot of shocking going on in Shantytown at the moment.
