A list of games that I should have an "S" Rank in but don't because of crappy and/or over priced DLC that I will not purchase just to maintain my "S" Rank status. Put me in the camp for the "S" Rank Plus grade!!!
In my opinion this is the premier example of DLC that ruined any opportunity for a "S" Rank. I don't know who thought it was a good idea to release the full game of Tomb Raider: Anniversary as DLC, but I can't understand why anyone would buy this DLC for $20 when you can easily find a used copy for between $10 and $12. Needless to say, as much as I love Achievements, I still have no intention of buying this ridiculous DLC.
I really enjoyed this sequel to MUA. I thought the addition of Fusions was awesome, the re-work of Stamina allowing for more frequent use of super powers was great, the removal of items was ideal. Sure the game had some flaws, but overall I enjoyed the game a lot. I would have been willing to spend some of my hard earned money on some additional Super Heroes and content, but Activision lost the Marvel license about 3 months after the release of this game, meaning myself and everyone else who did not buy this game st release is SOL....shame on Marvel and Activision!!!
I did enjoy the Prince of Persia reboot from late 2008, but could not justify the $10 Epilogue DLC. This DLC picks up where the core game "ended" (meaning it actually provides an ending), but only added about 2-3 hours of gameplay. The additional combat moves and new magic spell did not add enough value to the overall package to convince me buy it, even to maintain my "S" Rank.
Beautiful game, but man is it s grind (to be expected from a JRPG)! However after spending dozens of hours grinding levels and skills, forking over even the small amount they were asking for the Seeker of the Deep did not seem worth it. A 25 level dungeon crawl for a few items and one new boss...not interested.
