This game is easily the best surprise of the year for me. Absolute travesty that it hasn't gotten more attention - everyone I've shown it to has gotten way into it. Probably doesn't help that it came out in the year where Twitch became super aggressive about licensed content in VODs :/
@tdous: They're saying 'gacha'. As in 'gachapon', which are those japanese toy capsule thingies. Your guess is fairly accurate - it's basically referring to games that spit out loot/rewards in exchange for currency (sometimes real money, sometimes not).

I'll grant you, I overstated when I said 'definitely coming'- that was based on my skimming the article when I should have read closer (and a clickbait headline didn't help- thanks, PC Gamer). However, I'd argue it's also more than a 'maybe' or a 'we'd like to'; it sounds like they probably have some concrete plans on their end, but they know there's a possibility that Sony pulls the rug out from under them for financial reasons before they can get to that stage.
@steveurkel: For what it's worth, Abby's comment about PC at the beginning of this video is correct- Media Molecule have said that they do plan to bring Dreams to PC (it'll probably be some time from now, but it's supposedly coming!)
Additionally, MM say they have plans to allow users to export creations and standalone games OUT of Dreams and allow them to run on other devices, just like you're saying. I'm a bit bummed the GB guys seem unaware of most of this, as I've heard Vinny express his disappointment that you can't do this on the Beastcast a couple of times now. It seems like MM are super ambitious with what they want Dreams to be capable of, and are working hard on implementing pretty much every feature you could reasonably hope for in a development tool like this.

@sirdesmond: I echo this so much. Outer Wilds came out of nowhere for me, now it's easily among my top ten favorite games of all time. GB West seems to be sleeping on it right now, I hope they get a chance to delve into it over the weekend!
@thedigitalistic: Not quite accurate. The PC version is the only version that supports the level editor, and as far as I can tell, the developers have no plans to bring it to console.
+1 to more Brad and Vinny playing Satisfactory. Been playing since launch and I'm in love, I've been waiting for the inevitable Vinny content ever since.
