Games I've Finished 2019: Working in a hospital sucks and I'm too lazy to come up with another title edition

List items

  • I went back and finished it on extreme and newtype, so I say it counts. I really appreciate how if the parts you want don't drop, you can build up the ones you want into legendaries with max affixes.

  • Got it for like a buck. Art was pretty, but controls weren't quite as tight as I'd have liked.

  • Pretty good. I liked how a lot of the maps actually looked like a battle was going on instead of just being in a field somewhere with guys to shoot. There weren't a lot of maps where you could just buff up a scout and run to the main camp either, though there were still a couple. That first challenge skirmish was a motherfucker too.

  • You seem kinda frail for a space marine, at least as far as explosions are concerned. Still pretty fun to chainsaw sword fuck some orcs.

  • This is leading me to believe that everyone in Montana has their own underground bunker and it makes me want to move there. The ending seemed kinda out there, but the Clutch Nixon theme song makes up for most things.

  • Since they've did 3 anime unit games, that means they're due for an OG one soon, right? Rayearth seems like it would've been a better choice for the previous game since it was a lot of magic, but what do I know? There's a lot of fun units to break the game with, but there's not a lot of challenge to be had unless you self impose it.

  • Wanted to play it at least once since Ritual of Night has a release date now. Definitely some Castlevania 3 influence though it did run impossibly slow if I tried to full screen it.

  • Man, those earthling really home in on your ass and wreck your shit in later levels.

  • Seemed like a natural progression from the Sorrow games and Order of Ecclesia, but finally not on a handheld. It was exactly what I wanted from it.

  • I finished the game and I'm still missing one rare blade and it's really sticking in my craw. Fuck you, Vale. CMON.

edit: I spent a few hours farming legendary cores and did finally get Vale. It was definitely a pain though.

  • Pinball is the only way to cure furries. Who knew?

  • I didn't bother to reload up on health items after my Amon fight, so the final chapter was a little rough. No one has ever managed to make a tailing mission interesting, and this is no exception, but the rest of the game was pretty fun. Well, except the champion league drone races, fuck that shit.

  • I was a big fan of being able to use transformations to bypass most of the platforming. I can't decide if that's laziness or old man reflexes at work. Still, a fun game to play through.

  • Had a good time playing through this on my vacation. Though, now I kinda want to go back and play that remastered Darksiders one that showed up on my steam account at some point.

  • I wish there was a better catch up mechanic since there are so many goddamn characters to level. The game was pretty fun though other than getting my ass handed to me fighting Dr. Strange.

  • They tout it as an RPG, but it feels more like an adventure game with skill checks. Also, I think an RPG would have more than one way to accomplish the same task. I did appreciate that all of the main characters skill were voices in his head though.

  • Pretty tough. Didn't manage to get the black outfit from the arena challenges, but got about everything else. Finished the end boss on my last hit point.

  • Took like 2 months, but I finally finished it. Punishing but pretty fun.
