List of games defeated in 2015.

Game of the Year: Bloodborne

List items

  • What a game to start my year off. So much fun and didn't want it to end. Played every little mission and found every collectable I could get my hands on! The combat and powers are a blast to use and the whole Nemesis system makes it very interesting. The story was practically null though, but still had a ton of fun.

  • Pretty cool puzzle platformer... may be a little over-hyped but it is pretty interesting.

  • Pretty good continuation from season 1. Really enjoyed seeing her character and all the other new characters. No, it isn't as good as season 1, but that is really hard to top... but still wasn't able to put it down.

  • Very interesting little puzzle game. Could have done without the guards, but the rest of it was very well done... was quite humorous, good voice acting, great art, and reminded me of Rocko's Modern Life, which is always a great thing. It also didn't overstay its welcome, so kept a decent pace.

  • Pretty cool concept and theme... but the gameplay was really bad. Love the idea of going in and out of the 2D shadow world and solving puzzles, but the platforming was so awful and very glitchy.

  • Pretty cool side-scrolling metroid-vania like game. Some of the controls could get a little janky at times, but the setting and appearance were unique and interesting. May have felt a little longer than it needed to be at times, but not too bad.

  • Standard military campaign, nothing too special but it looked pretty nice and plays pretty good. Actually don't enjoy the mulitplayer as much as a CoD (thought I would)... the progression seems way too slow, but still pretty fun.

  • (HD version) I have started this game several times in the past but could never get completely into it... would always give up after the first few hours. Not sure if it was because of the jungle setting, or that there are no vision cones and it got infuriating or what. But this time I got through all of that and it is a pretty solid MGS game. Still wish the sneaking and controls were better, but still a pretty interesting and fun game... even when frustrating at times.

  • Great addition to the sous series... really enjoyed it! It was definitely more streamlined and "easier" than the other souls games. The only downfalls I have with the game is that it could have been a bit more varied - mainly different weapon types, class types and different environments. Great game!

  • Fun and funny RPG. Always have loved the Mario RPG type combat in the turn based realm and this does a great job.

  • Pretty good Dragon Age game. Not as good as the first one, but definitely better than the second. Seems they really wanted to drive the point that this one wouldn't have the same issues the second one had with the same environments over and over, and instead made it as huge and open world as possible... maybe even too big. Overall I really enjoyed it and it kept me coming back.

  • Definitely an inFamous game... and nothing wrong with that. The game looks beautiful and I love the new powers. The only downside were the very repetitive side activities, especially the spray painting... that got old quick. Really fun game though.

  • Nice little add-on to Second Son and always fun trying out new powers.

  • Such a weird game, but some of the the balloon powers are neat. Controls can get really uncomfortable and annoying, but the game is really quick.

  • Pretty great Diablo game!
