I've slowly been working my way through Ubusoft's Assassin's Creed series of games and have been enjoying them immensely.

Tonight I finished up Revelations and teared up like a big ol' man baby.

I was happy that Sofia was spared the fate of Altaïr's partner but deeply saddened at the mortality of Altaïr as displayed in the game, and the knowledge that the aging Ezio, with his gammy arthritic knees and pulped wrist from using that fucking hook blade, was doomed by the same mortality.

I guess we're all fated to end, like it or not.

Have just started AC3. I would like to assassinate the UI team. You fucked up in the deep and desperate way that only committee meetings can.

I'm going to have to put AC3 aside for a couple of weeks and try to forget, or unlearn, my previous muscle memory - not just for assassinating, but for looking at the fricken map, or quitting the game.
