I really hope so. :) I posted a new topic on the Bioware forums for confirmation.

" @sensory: Thanks for correction, I should have just said "Available only from The Exiled Prince."
I think SE will have BE too.  I sure hope so.  I mean, we're buying the game new.  The SE is supposed to come with an additional $20 of additional content.  If the Exiled Prince is only $7 worth, then.. probably? "

No probs. :) I hope we will too; the other DLC and the free soundtrack are a good incentive alone, but I'd hate to get a DLC only to miss out on another that I'd have to buy anyway. I guess it depends which DLC would be cheaper.

Edit: Signature Edition pre-orderers will be getting The Black Emporium as well. :) Found the info at the bottom of this page:

"The Exiled Prince is a downloadable content for Dragon Age II. It is included in the Dragon Age II BioWare Signature Edition. It is also available separately for US$7 or 560 Microsoft Points."

[offtopic]I'm wondering if  the Signature Edition will get  The Black Emporium as well as the included DLC. Any one know? The DA wiki says The Black Emporium is available for people who buy the game new.[/offtopic]

To those worried about the hack-n-slash nature, you'll probably find in the retail game that action-style RPG elements will take a backseat when you ramp up the difficulty to Hard or Insane. Hack-n-slash is more of a feature, judging by some of the newer videos from the developers, which is there to make positioning less of a hassle than it was in the first game.

Absolutely loved it and I'm glad I pre-ordered the Signature edition. The combat combines hack-n-slash into the original mixture very well on the console, making it feel like you're actually doing something at every step of the battle while still having fine-tuned control over yourself and your party. It's a shame they locked down the settings like that, but I noticed in some recent videos that they moved things around in the settings for the retail game (e.g. the talent trees are flip-through in retail) so maybe that's one of the reasons.

I'm really looking forward to playing the retail version of this game come release date here in the EU.
