And now The Redner Group is no longer associated with 2K games. That tweet essentially got Redner canned and made his PR firm unemployable. Great going.

It's not only about being able to play Blu-ray MOVIES, but having a Blu-ray drive would allow larger games to fit on one disc instead of two or three. I already own a current-gen system (Xbox 360) and if I were to even consider forking out money for this "new" (5 year old) system that I can't play my old current-gen games on, the least it would have to have is a Blu-ray drive.

Yeah, people giddy over HD should stop and think for a minute. High Definition doesn't automatically mean better graphics.

Before this trailer I wasn't remotely interested in this game. Now though.. it looks good.

I have an old core Xbox and it's running perfectly on that. There's the occasional FPS drop but I can live with that.

It seems very weird that the oldest possible model of the 360 wouldn't have any problems such as locking up or overheating, and some of the newer ones that are meant to have improved cooling, would.

Wasn't this already out?

Oh wait, that seems to be everywhere except the US. Weird.

Jeff didn't use the SMART system to it's full potential. Instead he played it like [insert generic shooter] and it really showed in the Quick Look. I'm not saying that if he had played it as it should have been played, i.e. hopping all over the place and using the SMART system to his full advantage, that it would have made it better.. but I've seen videos of a Light body-type who is able to play the game as the devs intended and it looked far more entertaining. Once you start seeing the maps in 3 dimensions, I gather the game will open up a bit more.

Regardless, I don't see this game doing well after all these bad scores from prominent reviewers. I'll still be buying it though since I have friends who'll be playing it .

Looks like this might be hit and miss on the PC what with the campaign multiplayer element and matchmaking. As far as I'm aware the way the campaign multiplayer is going to work is that you'll face a new team on every campaign mission, regardless of win or lose. Because each team needs to win for their campaign to progress, the losing team in any match will stay on the same mission but face another team, while the team they lost to will advance to their new mission and also face another team.

Freeplay should act like any other FPS with dedicated servers.

I'm positive Splash Damage thought of this and it won't be an issue. Sorry for the random rant, but that's why I'm going to play it safe and buy it on the 360.

I've pre-ordered it from GameStation here in the UK and I'm looking forward to it. I'll be getting the DOOM and SpecOps pre-order bonuses.. which I could take or leave really. I'd rather have the Limited Edition Steelbox but I'm a sucker for nifty packaging.

We're all enjoying one-shot kills being out of the game, not the headshot damage being out of the game. From the looks of the videos there's increased damage when firing at someone's head. :)

Definitely looking forward to this game. Average FPSs are too frustrating and almost never encourage team-play. According to one of the interviews they don't even display KD ratio (this may have changed) and you're scored based on points and how you helped your team be victorious. Sign me up!
