No I don't think he really plays games. Uncharted 3 might've been his first, he must have had much time playing the game to make it look easy on the camera.
Well, everyone gets old eventually. And wasn't there a rumor he'd had a minor stroke a few years ago?
Watching this, it's very cool to see an actor who helped define a classic era of adventure cinema experience an entirely new level of storytelling - and it's blowing his mind.
Makes me wish I had a PS3. Haven't played any of the Uncharted series.
He doesn't actually play the game as you can tell from the making of. This is still cool he did it though, and I think the way he was a bit shocked when seeing it in action was sincere, though he was either at a loss for words, or simply was paid to say the nicest (though simple) things about it for a Japanese audience.

A lot (especially older folks) seem to hold the thing like 6 inches below their chin. WHY?! lol.
Then there's always the "im gonna jerk the controller in this lopsided/sideways please-make-this- jump kind of motion" when they try to make a jump that looks difficult
