Really sad to hear these three are leaving Giant Bomb after so many years. I'm currently listening to the podcast, but have they made any indication that the leave was because of costs rather than simply the three of them deciding to do something different with their careers? It would seem to be a big coincidence otherwise. I know Giant Bomb's parent company was sold within the past year. My guess is that was a big part of it and that the parent company decided to scale down Giant Bomb. I just hope they don't completely dismantle it. Giant Bomb is really the only gaming media/website I've followed for the past 10 years or more.

I haven't had a chance to listen to all of the most recent podcasts, so maybe this was covered, but I'm wondering what's going on with the studios (specifically the West Cost)? I know GB was sold to a different company as part of CBS Interactive recently, but I didn't know if Jan tearing down the studio was because of that or what. Are they moving to a different location? Are they just tearing everything down until Covid has been dealt with and they're able to start working from the office again?

Just curious about their plans for the future.

Why wouldn't you put the RE: 1 Remake on this list? It's the best choice, as long as Abby doesn't completely hate the camera too much to play it.

Abby would love the increased puzzle focus and the scares will be there for sure as well. Its the best game to me if you include it on the list flat out.

Truthfully, I completely forgot about that one.

Does she have any reverence for the old Resident Evils or is she very much coming to the series fresh?

I don't believe she played any Resident Evil before playing a little bit of 7 and then going through RE2: Remake. I expect she'd get frustrated by the tanky controls and fixed camera angles of the originals. She seems to be pretty comfortable with the controls in the remakes.

Resident Evil 7, cause it’s a genuinely scary Resident Evil game and that makes for great entertainment ala the RE2 Remake

Yes. And I think Abby would actually get the most enjoyment out of this one. There’s some good puzzle solving and interesting and intense moments.

@shaunsharky: my keenness to call it a draw is mostly down to the fact that I don't think I'd ever opened a poll on here to see it so evenly spread. That and being British means I'm naturally drawn to low score draws.

That's funny :)

Looks like the next Resident Evil has been decided...and it's Dead Space!

I know. I was so disappointed. Maybe she will go back to RE afterwards.

Revelations 2, co-op with Vinny. 5 would work too but I think Revelations 2 is the best co-op one.

I think that would be fun as well, but I'd still rather see RE7 in VR first.

It's a draw, apart from the first Revelations - let's leave it at that. I haven't played Zero since it came out so would be interested to see that again.

RE7 and Revelations 2 have now pulled into the lead. Let's give it at least a day to see if there's a clear winner.

Hmmm. It doesn't seem to be super accurate, at least not for recent videos. For instance, right now when I filter videos with Alex or Alex and Vinny, Mass Alex 3 doesn't show up. And when I choose Jan, none of his recent Bloodborne videos show up. I'm guessing the site is a little behind in its tagging?

You could use Qlcrew.com which is a fan project with much better tagging.

Wow, thanks for that link. I've been wanting a search feature like this for so long. I hope GB incorporates something like this.

When I was in college, our favorite games to play were Tom Clancy's Rainbow 6 (the original), Command and Conquer: Red Alert, and Starcraft. All three were great LAN games and being in a dorm with T1 internet (which was fast at the time) was the perfect setting for nightly multiplayer matches in any of these games.
