I realize I'm a little behind in making my top 10 list for 2014, but better late than never. I have to mention a few games that most likely would have made my list (based on the kind of games I enjoy and what I've heard about these games), but aren't on here simply because I haven't had a chance to play them yet. Those would be: Far Cry 4, Dragon Age: Inquisition and P.T.

Very enjoyable and a huge leap forward with the Nemesis System. Wish they'd add a horde mode.

Very atmospheric. Great concept that was just a little off in the execution.
One of the only games my wife would actually sit down and play with me. Genuinely funny moments and great storytelling.
If you're having a party, this is a must-play.
