This series is just someone who doesn't really know anything about the topic regurgitating youtube videos they just watched to someone who doesn't know anything about the topic either. I thought the premise of the show was supposed to be common knowledge stuff. So far every topic I've literally taken courses on in school, but I still wouldn't expect the average person to know most this of stuff. This is literally just two people watching youtube videos together and rattling off postulations because they don't actually know the answers.

Prokaryotic (Cells with less organelles and usually tails; a sperm cell is one) --> sperm, bacteria, etc.

Eukaryotic --> Plants

--> Animals

It's all about common ancestors. Plants and animals have different cell structures. So things classified as plants or animals split off at the cellular level. Plants and fish are both Eukaryotes but that's the split; which would be pre multicellular organisms. So no, plants are not fish dammit. But on a cellular level since we are both Eukaryotic, we do share things we fish, plants, etc. and are related.
