@snufkinn415: As someone who has studied psychology and provides therapy, the group think that is going on right now is extremely excessive. I used to think that the positives and negatives of the internet were mostly equal, however that has changed. I now believe that the world and its people's mental health would be far better off without it. You become the company you keep. For instance, I have a friend who says dude every other sentence. I do not get to see him very often anymore, but when he has been around and I have spent a few days consistently with him, I begin to throw in the word dude every other sentence as well. This is an innocent example, but on a greater scale, so many may claim they are an independent thinker, but most are just the products of their friend circles.
