Monster Hunter Freedom Unite features a staggering 100 hours of gameplay, and actually reduced Japan's productivity the day it was released. If you let it, it could easily take over your life too. And you should, because it's simply an excellent adventure game that satisfies the inner loot whore like few others can. The story is spread thin, and it can be difficult to wrestle with the camera, but otherwise this is the best traditional game the handheld has to offer.

This fighting game has only one catch: you won't be able to argue on SRK or Gaia Online about which arcade stick is better for it, or how the newfangled Sanwa buttons you just bought are making you a better player (they aren't).
This is because it's on a handheld, and thankfully doesn't carry that same baggage that console fighting games do. The limited control options actually force you to adapt and just have fun, rather than over-indulge in the technicalities of the genre and completely suck the life out of it.
