@jagubrah: Hey, someone being civil on the internet! I'm actually with you (and Vinny) on keeping the word and it's meaning alive through use of it. I used it a lot (with the a, not the er) when I was younger around black and white friends (where I live is almost 50% black folks), but as I got older I decided to stop. I grew up and realized the weight of the word.
As for people being able to use the word whenever they want, they should be able to. They also have to accept the social ramifications of doing so. I'm not going to, but I'm also not going to tell people what they can and can't say. I don't know how we'll get rid of the words.. Maybe we will just have to hope that society at large "grows up" and stops using them; I just don't want them to be forced to.
I still won't try to change the way my friends talk, but I guess I have made it a wink wink kind of thing by telling them I stopped saying things people could be hurt by. I hope I explained myself well (I'm pretty tired lol) and didn't come off as a dick, if I did it wasn't my intent.
@betaband: ok, we'll if I missed the point or misunderstood him, then tell me how? No need to be hostile, either. Every one has an opinion on matters like these.
Nah I'm not defending Pewdiepie. He fucked up. I don't know if he's racist or not. He may say that word joking around with his friends, or may actually dislike black people. Whatever the case the word did slip out. And, like you said, he apologized.
Vinny has a perfectly acceptable opinion on Pewdiepie and racist terms, but I don't agree with calling people out if they're playing around about saying the word, joking with buddies, etc. As long as they aren't actually being racist. It's childish when adults do it, yeah, but if you can't stand people that say things you or society deem offensive, then just stop hanging around them. Don't preach to them.

I tried kh when it first came out but put it down. Tried them with the new compilation again and... The first game at least isn't very good imo. Finding out where to go is a chore, the story is meh.... The game play and music are decent. Idk I just can't get into it.
