On the non-linear storytelling question.

Her Story seems like a perfect fit at around two hours of playtime.

What a fantastic review, despite the broken systems the experiences described by the Beastcast crew and Austin really make me want to check out NMS for myself at some point.

Great work as always Alex.

Yeah that map was real bad, first time I felt as dismayed as the MPP crew.

Rune Factory lets you tame monsters to pick crops for you/water your crops/plant seeds for you if you want. I'm really into this game, too, but people who slept on Rune Factory 4 are fucking idiots.

Well shit, this is getting added to the backlog now.

Again, I'd contest that 3 mentions is hardly overstating it.

@larmer:

How can you say that the amount of people who made the game means nothing to consumers when numerous people in the comments and Dan are stating how impressed they are by the accomplishment? Consumers love labors of love, feats of ingenuity, etc, while it shouldn't affect or "inflate" the review score, it's worthy of acknowledgement.

I don't believe it's fair to infer that there is anything more to Dan bringing up dev size beyond the fact that he found it's worthy of recognition in HIS review. There is no hard standard for reviews. We can argue to the moon about whether we agree with it or not, but there certainly isn't an objective right.

Seems like Dan addressed this while I was writing this comment, thanks for making me a fool Dan.
