if youve got a hell of alot of free time then go for it! Am i the only one who finished darksosuls, then gone on to play a much easier game (arkham city) and found it ...dull? im already bored of endlessly flying around the city, killing infinite goons in a couple of punches
Finished it! in a marathon session (for me anyway) about 6 hours straight. killed seath(fuck invisible paths.) ran around new londo ruins and got every item(fuck ghosts) killed the 4 kings first try. theres times when im glad i went a tanky knight. went to demon ruins (fuck lava) took down ceaseless discharge, centipede and firesage (all super easy) died twice to the bed of chaos, theres times i hate being a big fat slow tanky knight :P she barely gets off the floor. went and killed gwyn o nthe second attempt :)
Really satisfying game, my game of the year by miles (so far, skyrim...)
hardest parts - Archers at anor lando, ornstein and smough, tomb of giants.
cleared the catacombs and beat pinwheel, went through the tomb of giants untill i got to a red fog door, searched everywhere for a way to go, resorted to using google. i hadnt handed the lordvessel in >< so much rage. warped back and gave firekeeper snake face the vessel, ran all the way back to the tomb of giants (didnt take anytime at all really) killed nito on my first try :) farmed for 20 mins and got my strength up to 50. the end is in sight
my first char is a tank build, i need some help getting a new weapon. ive just done smough and ornstein, currently wearing havels armour and using a black knight halberd+3. so whats a good strength based weapon for me to go for?
everyone has to start somewhere, imagine someone posted something similair to this when geoff and ryan started (im not sure if there was anyone before geoff and ryan tbh, dudes have been around forever!) got to give new blood a chance :)
must be an only child who doesnt want to share his toys. only a handful of games are built with multiplayer being the main focus(mainly recent fps, cod, battlefield etc) there are still plenty of excellent single player games (mass effect, l.a noire.) fps games need a strong multiplayer to compete in todays market.
