Listening now. The mention of Horizon during the most disappointing talk. Oof.
Completely agree. Brad's disillusionment with Bungie/Mass Effect seems to be leaking into his opinions on everything ... to be honest, he sounds a little bit like Jeff on this, and I hope he hits his stride on HZD. My only real knock on Horizon was the ending, I was hoping for a little more of a God of War type robot sequence, but, yeah, what a great look/story.
Watch Danny O'Dwyer's NoClip documentary on HZD if you haven't yet, it's fantastic!
Loved ETS2, found new music i'd have never listened to without those streaming radio chans. Reaaaally wish the devs had started on the east coast for this game though. I bought it but it didn't grab me like ETS.
i don't understand how anyone could play that beta and want more... i feel like the engine is part of the problem: it feels really "clinical" trying to play, only way i know how to describe it. nothing organic about the movement or shooting, and the multiplayer loop is monotonous. the real embarrassment is the campaign though: four decades worth of directions you could take the story, and they chose what they did. i would love another jk2/kotor success story, but sadly this ain't it.
