lol i have to admit i went down the whore road too. its great to see all the intimate relationships you can have as the FeMC but to make it believable I just always kinda make believe i'm doing each in separate "lives" so even with the other bfs I stayed true to my one and only Akihiko-senpai!

but tbh i think the game leads you to picking Shinji because she literally throws herself at him.

i hope nobody like hates me for this but i gotta say running around the world map was really boring for me in p3 and FES. I actually liked getting a quick menu to teleport me places and a map that I could just scroll to things I wanted. it wasn't like i was really exploring new places. but the cutscenes are a big step up from the visual novel style of P3P.

i know i can't find it anywhere either! :'(

can anybody find a subbed version? actually can anybody find any version? I've been painfully watching it off of 2 min clips that several people loaded in several places with very very bad audio and shaky cam.

imo if you just want a good game then I totally say P3P because its portable and its so much easier to get the persona team you want. but if you want the pretty pretty cutscenes and the full story then FES is what you need because of the updated journey and answer.

i don't know. I kinda don't think the Answer would fit with the movies but who knows? maybe they will? it would be the full story and they did do the full story for the P4 anime. 5 movies then?

once you get to NG+ just head to Monad no matter what. find the easy enemies like the sands of time that are weak to physical. make sure to equip all the strongest stuff to yukari and junpei that you should have from your last game. this will keep them alive. now try to knock all of them down then see who gets the turn after you. if junpei goes before the enemies do go for the aoa but if not attack whatever enemy attacks next to make it dizzy or the magarudyne will kill you since junpei is weak to it. if you survive them you'll level junpei and yukari to like 24 right there and you'll be totally ready for any of the bosses. i ended up one shot rushing the priestess lol

given the names of the two movies I'm betting on four one per season. the next one after this should deal with shinji and ikutsuki and the last one will probably be depressing as ever! j/k but it will be the december and january part of the story and we all know how that went.

skill cards! nobody is mentioning the skill cards of P3P! you can have your favorite persona and then customize it with all the moves you want for it instead of hoping and praying for a good fusion. I know for people who go back to P3P from P4 or P4G that doesn't sound like much anymore because of how fusion is improved but it is probably the biggest bestest part of P3P's gameplay.

but yes the biggest drawbacks of P3P is that FES is the complete package for understanding the story and getting the real deal but P3P is much more fun to play imo. if they could remake it on the Vita maybe they could put the cutscenes back in and even come up with a "the Answer" for the FeMC but I'm already plenty happy with the P3P we already have.

The girl doesn't have a "real" name like the P3 and P4 MCs but either Minako for the manga or Makoto for the anime could work for her. I was stupid and named her Izumi Takeba. I thought it would be funny since Mitsuru keeps calling people by their last name in the beginning and she says Takeba alot. but I have to say after a while I really couldn't let go of Izumi as her name. it got so bad at one point I was watching a walkthrough for P3P and screamed at Akihiko for "getting my name wrong" because he said the name the person with the walkthrough gave her. lol

but sorry for reigniting this debate for you guys. I just wanted to get that off my chest and this was one of the only ones on the subject that I could find that still allowed comments.

P3 is pretty hard. I even tried P3P on beginner one time and the 1st boss got lucky and killed me once and I lost a Plume of Dusk. besides that it doesn't have most of the stuff that makes P4 easier to handle. there are floors of tartarus that are pitch black so you don't know if your running into an enemy. the shadows in the game don't have to turn to chase after you they just run straight so it is almost impossible to dodge them if they see you. plus unless it is P3P you can't control your team so they do stupid things sometimes like the "marin karin" problem.

but P3 is a game that gets really really easy at the end. you only have to be about lvl70 to kill the final boss and most people will get way beyond that thanks to the game's December and january. o and the bonus dungeon that's just a exp farm. i'm currently doing a Hard NG+ run and thanks to keeping my lvl and the bonus dungeon I just needed to beat 3 of this one shadow that gives you tons of exp and both Junpei and yukari jumped from lvl1 to lvl36 before the train boss which ended up being a rush 1 hit KO. lol
