When looking at the future of my console gaming experience, the Playstation 4 sits front and center, first and foremost. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be diving into full-sized consoles again anytime soon, as they've really gotten too expensive for my limited budget. Final Fantasy XIII was supposed to be the game to buy with a PS3, but that turned out to not be a "must have" game. They announced FF7 Remake for PS4, so now I'll probably have to get one. Playstation for Life!

Along with the Playstation 3, I'll get access to the PSN download-and-play program. I've already downloaded content from the PSN to my PSP, which is pretty cool, but PSN integration with the PS3 really takes it to another level. Presumably the same would be true for the PS4.

It looks like my PSP-2000, memory cards, and UMDs are finally out of date for good! Will I get a Vita? Maybe... but there are still plenty of UMDs I've bought but not played yet, and I'm not crazy about owning a game download-only... hard copies are just so much more secure in my mind.
