As for whether or not Chris Evans was being a dick during recording, I can't really say, I wasn't there. I don't really trust it though considering most of these guys like getting paid and they usually get more money to do the video game voices. There's also usually two sides to every story. I've seen first hand producers be dicks because they don't trust some movie star with the lines for their precious game or franchise. And there is a lot of pressure on SEGA for this one because rumor has it Marvel hasn't been happy with how the Iron Man games came out and are talking about looking to go elsewhere for their movie adapations if Cap and Thor are busts. So maybe the producer just had a stick up his ass that day because his job may be on the line.
As for the quality of the game, I spoke with one of the producers, BJ Enriquez, at NY ComicCon last week and played a pre-alpha build of the game and from what I saw, the game does not suck. They're using the Arkham Asylum engine because SEGA is trying a lot because they don't want to lose the Marvel movies. They brought in Christos Gage for the script as well. I have a Sony handheld MiniDV cam that I use. I also have a Sennheiser MD 46 handheld mic with a XLR-mini adapter to record the audio. It's great for tuning out a lot of the background noise, which at a place like ComicCon, can become overwhelming at times.
