I'm kinda glad its a bit 'late', since I'll get money to actually buy something this way. If it'd been on the 4th I wouldn't have been able to buy anything.
@Laksa: Man, I can only wish. The selection on vertical and horizontal shoot'em'ups is not particularly good right now, but theres a bunch of newer japanese games I haven't played there. But to have the best of mame with achievements on steam, ... drool.
Whats the limit on newness for thsi? I'm just a couple months old (ironic..), so I dunno if I have what it takes to join yet. I've got a bunch of games though, race on retail bundle key, and a bunch of indies. To give away taht is. I think steamgifts said that my account is at 680$ or so. Steamcalculator said it was over one thousand, but waht do I know.
This thing is pretty cool and has given me even more reason to use the vita. Paired with a bluetooth headset that get calls on the phone & plays the music from the vita all with no cable hassles is very nice. I actually didn't know the play while listening to downloaded songs, I'll take a look in to it. As for repeats, how I handle this is that I make a playlist, select it for download and don't stream ever, when I run out/need new I make a new playlist. Haven't noticed anything lacking in the selection, there's always gaps in these compared to a well cultivated collection. But thats par for the course, as a rent-music-for-month service its quite ok.
As far as I can tell, resistance retribution does not use any dual shock configuration. Its the typical face buttons mapped to the second stick. Controls ok, but not great. Well, tbh, its not my favourite experience I've had from the psp library. The story is so so and the save spots few and far in between. Maybe I'm a wimp but the save spot irregularities really irk me in this one.
