Had a hard time choosing the title. So I just went with something obvious. (Side Note) This is my first blog ever, and I thought to myself "what better place to start then GiantBomb?" So here we go.

We've all been there. Money burning a hole in our pocket, thinking about the next video game you want. You've read the reviews, and you can't wait to get it. You make the trip down to the game store, and guess what? the game is gone. They don't know when they're getting it in next either. So what do you do? you start harmlessly looking at other video games. You then come across a game, and you think to yourself "well, I've wanted to play this game before, I guess I'll get this one." So you buy it, and as soon as you leave, you're already saying to yourself " what the hell did I do?". So you get home, pop it in, and start playing. This is when you get that crappy feeling in you're stomach and you start trying to justify your purchase in your mind. You say things like, well look at this feature and this should be fun. You usually end up playing for about 3-7 days before giving up and letting it collect dust.

So why do we do this? Is it because as gamers we just can't control ourselves when it comes to buying games? I think it's because we always need something new to play. Even if it's not something we would normally buy. Chances are if you go into a video game store with money, your coming out with a video game. I've done it several times. I ended up buying Dynasty Warriors 4 >_< and Socom: Combined Assault.

Maybe this hasn't happened to you and you have full self control over your money. If that's the case, I salute you *salutes*. But if it has, I luckily have a solution. Don't go in there unless you know what you want! DO NOT! under any circumstances just go in there to have a look around. Unless that is if you have no money, than it's alright. If they don't have the game you want, make a dash for the door and scream like a crazy person.
