I wasn't sure if I should get the game at launch or wait till a price drop, but after I accidentaly stumbled upon a thumbnail on youtube which showed the knight unmasked the decision was quickly made, lol. And I already had very strong suspicions on who it might be just from watching the trailers, and it turned out to be true, so that spoiler wasn't that big of a deal. But still, I then just said fk it and read the whole plot synopsis. It was okay overall I guess, but nothing really great. Kinda like the dark knight rises finale which was good, but not the big awesome ending everybody was expecting from the end of the trilogy. Knowing the whole story doesn't really ruined the game for good for me, but now I can easily wait till it is much cheaper. I also probably wouldn't have read up on the whole story if I was really hyped for the game in the first place.^^
And considering that I still haven't even finished all the stuff in the second area in WItcher 3, buying another open world game isn't such a good idea right now anyway. xD Guess I put that money into usf4 and dmc 4 hd.
Seems as though characters and movement still runs on janky fallout 3/skyrim engine. The environments look great, but I hoped for an engine overhaul for characters and shooter gameplay. Hopefully e3 will prove me wrong.
Well he is basically closing all story gaps with phantom pain, and the game seems to shape up possibly the best in the series. So I would be totally fine him never do a mgs game again and focusing on new ips. Konami, as they already annonced, will continue the Metal Gear series. Possibly reboot, do new characters, who knows, but I won't take those games seriously anytime soon or be excited for them. Sure I will probably check them out, but Kojima is the one who made the mgs games what they are, and Konami won't capture that. And if they run the series into the ground, so be it. We will still have our core finished kojima series.^^
@isomeri: Then you'll have to buy it next year anyway though.^^ Although If you sell it for more then what you will be able to buy it for next year, maybe even a new model, then it's understandable I guess. But really, no interest in any other game on the ps4? :)
No wiener in 50 shades of grey? Well, don't worry there is one in full glory in the order 1886, lol.
I will wait till reviews come out, but if it's true that the game is shorter than 6 hours or so, where half of it are cutscenes, then I probably will just rent it down the line. It just ain't worth 60 bucks then.
Still have no ps4, but sure am happy to get a big collection of games for it for when I finally get one. And the cross buy feature is fantasic, cause now I get Rouge Legacy for the ps3 and yakuza 4 and thief, even though that game isn't all that great. My ps plus backlog is too big, and I also have a ton of games I always get for cheap during the many psn sales. I will never finish them, lol.
