Video games!

Oh wait.

Dude was part of the team that made Breakout on the Atari 2600. Video games!!

Yeah, and he ripped off Steve Wozniak in the process. By all accounts the guy was a modern day Leona Helmsley, yet he seems to get nothing but praise. Apparently he liked to fire people in the elevator, so he could enjoy their pained reaction as long as possible...

This'll be interesting. The enforceability of EULAs hasn't really been tested in courts that much, AFAIK. Considering that there was a recent court ruling making jailbreaking phones legal, Sony might have an uphill battle coming up. Custom firmware can be used just to run Linux after all, which should be perfectly legal.

Late eighties and staying up into wee hours in my tiny and cramped room, taking turns playing Ultima V and Pool of Radiance with a bunch of friends.

It's been getting harder and harder for me to be impressed by games lately. Luckily I found this site, since the people running it seem to be genuinely excited about the games they play, even if it's a simple arcade racing game like Nail'd. I have to say it's kind of infectious.

The mac version was always due out later than the PC version. They've never advertised it as anything else, and the Steam preorder never said anything about a mac version. "

Still, the game was listed under Mac Games, and they were accepting sales.

ETA: Interestingly enough, they seem to have removed it from the Mac games tab. Ah well, at least I got the discount...

Grraargh, seems that the Mac version was "delayed" until February.  And somehow they still managed to sell it earlier as a "Featured" Mac game. I even managed to pre-order the damn thing. :/
