Oh my gosh, he has a novel coming out! Of all the things about 2017 that will be better than 2016, Swery being active, healthy, and working on weird stuff is up there.
I immediately bookmarked that Hitman rule generator. Because I watched so much Hitman, I was afraid I'd never bother playing it, but those Mexico rules are awesome and the next time that full season goes on sale I'm diving in and starting it that way.
I'm pretty excited about this. Not necessarily as a "handheld" that I take anywhere, more as a medium-powered Nintendo-thing I can play anywhere in my house (yeah, I know, the Wii U does that, but I've had to be insanely budget conscious recently and never got one).
If it's $300 USD I'm in (typing that out makes it seem unlikely...). I'll already have a great PC and a PS4 Pro by that point, and a console exclusively for Nintendo output to relax with might not get much play, but this looks more interesting to me than any hardware Nintendo's come out with in so, so long.
I expected this to be Jeff being an a-hole and Randy Pitchford screaming Trump-like nonsense into a mic because of some of these comments.
Jeff mostly brought up technical issues or time-and-place oddities, and even said some nice stuff about random aspects of this game and the original. The commentary, when not awkward, was interesting (subtitles or an option to lower all game sound when one of the clips is playing would really help).
I might get this during a Steam sale if the price is a couple bucks just for the commentary - with no nostalgia for the original I kind of don't care enough to pay anywhere near full price.
Can't believe I'm gonna have to play this when I finally get a PS4.
I can't stand DBZ-style art (don't remember the artist name, don't care) so I've never played a Dragon Quest game because they grossed me out, but this looks too cool gameplay-wise to miss out on completely.
