You know who is really excited about this in NA? AT&T, Comcrap and the likes. That is who the intranetz should be yelling at, hand over fist they make crazy profits, and when it comes to actually spending any of that money to upgrade or straight up build infrastructure or improve service they drag their feet. The real question should be why the fuck isn't "optimal internet" available everywhere in the US? Hell they have even been granted subsidized loans in states and still those states don't have full coverage (NH).

I wish that they could find a middle ground. Since all the people who were bitching were never going to get one. Now we have to hear a group doing the John Kerry "flip flopping" Xbox 180 bullshit. So now the people who were going to actually buy the system have been striped of any of the compelling stuff. I hope that they make it so people who were fine with their policy's will be able to use those features that they had proposed. Microsoft really bent over to appease Jim stearlings cronies and they never were going to use the thing.

Not to mention sony released music cd's with root-kit drm and bluray/dvds that could render your device inoperable. but...no one seemed to remember that shit too :P

What Is great is those same people were never going to get one in the first place, now all you see is...its more expensive blah blah blah. Kinect 0mgz0rz! It's wonderful the internet...they "fixed" ME3 and fixed something that could've helped moving away from stupid cd's...

Kayne and Lynch 2, the presentation is terrible. And the part where they are both terribly cut up and naked made it so i couldn't look at the screen (the way they are cut up on the back and shit really made me uneasy)

I dig your post, I also am getting an X1 but I'm on the other side of the spectrum. I'm actually interested in the internet connectivity of the thing. I have also never had a problem with xbl since I have had the service since 2008. I guess i'm a fringe case, the integration of MLB and NFL for me specifically are pretty nice, since I get both packages any way (I live in Chicago and come from NH) to watch "my" teams...I know i like sports I must be a dude-bro-guy neanderthal.

I really wish the internet would be just as vocal over this. Cable/Telcom companies make ridiculous amounts of cash for a pretty sub par product. The foot dragging to update and spread out any of the infrastructure is crazy... But whatevs... i'll leave you all back to your ms hate train.

I feel the same thing about EVERYTHING involving this new console cycle. But alas....
