@theANCIENTgray: Valtari is all harmony, but no melody or rhythm. They've been doing a lot of that lately and I'm kinda over it. Their earlier albums were much more musically interesting, with a lot more diversity in the sound.

It's strange to hear you say that because I've found Valtari to be one of their most diverse albums. Very interesting textures. It holds a special place in my heart.

amiina is way better

It was a brief thing for them but they returned to their roots with Valtari. I'd wager to say Valtari is pretty much on par with Takk.

When I'm in the mood for junk, I go all out and get a Baconator at Wendy's.

The acting was a bit over the top for my taste. The only one that was decent was the casserole guy.

Few bands mean as much to me as Sigur Rós. They've been a leading form of inspiration since I heard them back in 2006. I can't think of any other band that has such a deep resonance in my soul. It might sound weird but there's always that one band's sound that feels like it's in tune with who you are. I was fortunate enough to see them kick off their first concert in four years last night right in my home town of Philadelphia. Words can't express how excited I was to be able to see them in concert at the start of the Valtari tour.

The setlist was pretty awesome:

1. Ekki Múkk

2. Varúð

3. Ný Batterí

4. Í Gær

5. E-bow

6. Sæglópur

7. Svefn-g-englar

8. Viðrar Vel Til Loftárása

9. Hoppípolla

10. Með Blóðnasir

11. Olsen Olsen

12. Festival

13. Hafsól

Encore:

14. Dauðalogn

15. Popplagið

And Jonsi was insane to see live. I've never seen a voice sound so similar to the studio recordings. Simply incredible.

Is anyone else planning on seeing them? Any die hard fans out there? If you've never heard of them, here's some songs to try.

People who did not choose food obviously have never had to live on their own. Food cuts into your budget more than most other things, plus I personally hate going to the grocery store. Without food, I could play more video games and have more free money to do other things. Without video games, I would probably eat more and probably acquire diabetes. Food is temporary, video games are forever.

I live on my own. I think you chose food because you don't know how to cook.

shhhhhhhhh......... Also I live in the middle of a fairly large city and grocery shopping is a pain to lug back from the grocery store.

Now that's something I can understand.
