Look everywhere, if you ever pass a door that you haven't entered and the arrow tells you to keep going straight, don't, this way brings you to much loot and trust me you will need it.

if you know your going to die with little heath packs just die out on your weak bar and you wont lose any.

You will not have enough adam to explore all the different plazmids but instead you can heavily upgrade quite a nice selection of Utopian magic. on my play through, also on hard, I used among others: Electricty, Fire, Swarm and Security command which was my favourite beacuse the second upgrade allows you to spawn a turret (with names) which is great when setting up traps. Swarm is also useful when dealing with multiple enemies, because it can distract 2 men while you attack a third and can even continue to attack nearby splicers.

Gene tonic slots are cheap and so are many of the tonics

The men you kill while a little sister is harvesting is plentiful, so if yea got the health and the eve its a great way to restock

jump behind a big daddy while a splicer is attacking you and he will join your side. but dont hurt him yourself, he will get pissed.

always hack, if you successfully hack something after you set the alarm off it will stop. most important- hack health stations, theres also a tonic that will fill your eve every time you heal at a health station.

I am not a big fan of mass effect; infact ive played the first one for maybe an hour and had a horrible time. I feel i havent given this game a chance, but i also am not to intrigued by the story or game play.

Please make your case whether to get this game for reasons you believe are true, or make an opposing argument.

Thanks for the help Internet community. Go Giant Bombinians!

The same thing happened to me. Fallout 3 was my first game i played on my xbox360 ( At this time i had my ps3 for about a year)  and after about an hour i thought the game was so dreadful that i wanted to take it back to blockbuster and claim the game was broken therefore allowing me to explore the exclusives that the xbox had to offer (the game was rented). After realizing that blockbuster was closed i planed the next day to abandon the game for something new. As it went my only means of transportation was skiiing for the afternoon, so out of boredom i decided to pop in the only game i had, ( i was on vacation and dident bring the ps3 ) with much time to kill I made it from megaton to the dc ruins and everything in between, this is when i fell absolutely in love with the game the post apocalyptic wasteland was such an interesting, filled with surprises world that shocked and intrigued me at every turn. Now i own the game of the year edition with a logged 70 hours and have just now started a new character. This game is truly amazing if you havent played it yet go now and pick up a copy, and yes the game of the year edition is worth buying but if you have just started playing i suggest that you level up your character a bunch before exploring the expansions.
