@blu3v3nom07: Thank you for the feedback, I have already looked over some of Patrick's work and I definitely see what you mean. I kept rambled too much about fine details which diluted the overall message, dulled the boundaries between separate ideas and made the whole thing too damn long.

Concerning steam, I only wanted to use it as an example that DRM can work under certain conditions. I didn't attempt an analogy because such comparison is complex, not only because these systems involve different policies and intricacies but also because PC and consoles reside in quite different ecosystems .I didn't want to do the thing an injustice by briefly comparing them, as it deserves a dedicated article.

I also didn't focus on games that much because i felt much of the controversy had little to do with the quality/quantity of games. it was more concerned with Microsoft's policies more than anything, so i focused on that instead.

Again I would like to thank you for taking the time to read and critique my writing. I will make sure to organize it better next time.
