Alex has already suffered enough with his fish. Just redo it. Worrying about the purity of some video game playthrough is ridiculous. Tali being alive makes the third game so much better, and that's really what should be most important.
Man, back to Tuesdays sucking for a bit. This was great fun and I can't wait for the next season. Alex's playstyle should be a little less maddening (for me) in ME2. While I tend to favor shotguns and aggression in 1 and 3, when it comes to 2 I always favor the heavy pistol/sniper rifle combo.
Also, how dare you cut off the Faunts song? How dare you?
I don't understand how there can be any outrage over saving Kaidan instead of Ashley. Whomever you save is largely irrelevant for the rest of the series. They only have a cameo in ME2 and are sidelined for most of ME3. There are so many better characters still to come that are more worth caring about. Saving Wrex and Kirrahe is all that really matters when it comes to Virmire, as far as I'm concerned.
Well, that's probably the two hardest battles in the game out of the way. Therum is always a slog, so I'm glad they did it first. Now I just wish Alex would stop with this pick-and-pop-with-a-pistol routine he's doing and embrace his class. Slinging grenades, charging enemies with your shotgun blasting away and flinging 'em around with your biotics is a way more fun way to play and more fun to watch.
