No way, even if I wait 4-6 months for "more games" the console will still be the same price. I'd rather get it at launch and be part of the frenzy. Besides, I think some of the launch games look pretty cool.
@dagbiker: Someone posted a theory on Reddit "this kid isn't 'living at home for 18' years, the two main protagonists represent the 'players' of that time for the specific PlayStation generation."
I would get a PS4. It will be just as good as a PC for at least the first half of it's life span, plus you get console exclusives. Down the road if you still care that much about graphics and performance you can build a PC then.
