My perspective on this video was way different from the Bomb Crew's because I totally know two of the guys in this video. It was fucking wild seeing them in the actual fucking conference. I mean shit. What are the odds of that? Granted, they run a DKC+DKC Spinoffs fansite I'm a regular at so and have recently gotten close to Playtonic and Rare so it's not like they have no profile but I'd still have never expected them to amount to anything.
@jacksukeru: For me it's more getting back what I earned during the beta. I earned 50 boxes over the course of like 3 months. Might as well get that amount of stuff!
When Brad said 40 dollars wasn't that much I... Well now I have a lot more legendary skins. That was the exact right thing to say to convince me to buy some boxes.
It was really great to watch you guys enjoy the hell out of Overwatch, it's a really fucking cool game.
You should try Junkrat, he's the dude with the exploding tire! He also has a trap which roots, a mine that he can detonate to do send enemies flying and/or kill them dead and a grenade launcher that's great to spam. You can use his mine to propel yourself through the air too, it's really fun.
Probably should not have watched this right after the Doom QL, probably should've broken it up with Unprofesh or something. Ended up doing a lot of Doom in a row. I mean, I guess it's fine since I watched most of the QL when I was dead tired last night and drifting off but still.
Mario Party 3 is the best game I think overall, though really I like the map variety of 6 and 7. On top of it having really interesting items which contributed to the Mario Party Party, it also introduced duels which are phenomenal for really controlling the game. With duels you can bankrupt enemies and steal their stars over and over again using skill. Unfortunately the system is very optional and can be missed.
Really liked how it not being missed meant Mario Party was more of a game of skill than ever. Dan was challenged to many duels and he used his skill to beat them giving him a huge lead. Good work!
Dunno about this. Sounds like the issues I have with 2 and 3 are still there but then again a scoop of TLOU (which I loved) might help a lot. Would've liked to see the grappling hook in the ql.
I also bounced off of this game too. The biggest thing I'd cite is the time commitment between interesting things. Basically there were too many weeknights where I'd put a few hours into it and only get part way through a long and rote dungeon where nothing happens.
