Pretty shocked there was no mention of AOC appearing on a DK64 twitch stream which raised 300 thousand dollars for trans kids. That was a huge story last weekend that got absurdly big. Maybe next week?

I'm listening to this now and yelling at my podcast, things like "Come off it! God of War has amazing cinematography too but it's not even on the list! That's not what this category is and you know it! Someone say it!" Basically, this is exactly the GOTY content I've been looking for.

Strongly dislike the new approach. A change was nessessary, but I don’t feel anything listening to these podcasts without some hard cuts being made. What’s the point of discussion video games in a GOTY podcast if no decisions are being made? I need you to cut something someone loves.

Next year I’d rather they revert to the old way, perhaps with fewer categories per day and no other categories on day 5.

The format change makes sense from a logistical standpoint and to make Day 5 less like hell, but without any big winners or hard cuts I don't feel anything. Hoping that will change when the knives come out on day... I dunno, 3 or 4?
