" Better than a good PC running ME2?  I wonder... "

Either way that would be impossible, ME2 runs on the consoles at their upscaled horseshit resolutions.  So If you can run the game on 1280x720 on your pc it will look at least as good, that is if you don't override the AA and some of the other things yourself.  If you played on 1920x1200, there is no fucking way it can look as good.

Just to point this out I play 360, PS3, and PC.  So no one thinks I am being a douche.

I know this is hard for people to believe, but this is pure fact.  I also have relatives that are this way.  Not that I talk to them very often or acknowledge their existence, but I do see them on select holidays.

I am all about gameplay.  The graphics aspect just tends to be something that I always am intrigued by and sometimes gets me to play certain games, but it really does take a back seat to everything else if the game does the job. But, with some games that is the selling point, usually I tend to avoid those games.  Metro 2033 I bought for PC on Steam for $8.99 a while back, I still haven't played it besides just benchmarking my PC and seeing what it could handle.  It is an important aspect of games without a doubt, but I feel like there is way too much attention paid to graphics.

@WinterSnowblind:   The game has been completely overhauled and is actually running on a brand new engine, not the type of thing that can simply be patched.
I wouldn't be surprised if this version is ported to the 360/PC for the inevitable GoTY version tho

Except, if you already played the game on max settings, how much improvement could there be?  I can't imagine the engine upgrade could make ME2 look much better than it looked on my PC already.

Definitely a toughy. There are more that I like, but I almost always watch every movie I can by the ones I will list.

Orson Welles
Akira Kurosawa
Stephen Spielberg
Roman Polanski
Alfred Hitchcock
Stanley Kubrick
Martin Scorcese
David Fincher
John Carpenter
Terrence Malik
Francis Ford Coppolla
F.W. Murnau
Quentin Tarantino
Coen Brothers

On the cusp of me really really caring.
Darren Arnofsky
Christopher Nolan (need him to prove more after I saw how simplistic Inception was, great set pieces though)
I am stopping...could list more directors that I love, there are way more bad ones out there, but there are tons of greats if you span cinema history.

Me too.  Serious question, how shitty do these screens look compared to how it looked on your pc.  I mean, wow, insane difference.  I was maxed at 1920x1200 though.  Also enhanced some the AA and other various things.  I guess I am just kinda amazed because I just finished building this pc and haven't had a non POS for like, 8 years.

What are you looking to spend and what socket are you looking to use?  What parts do you want to buy new?  Everything or just a processor and some odds and ends?   I can def help you out, just finished an LGA 1366 build in the last 2 months.

Just helps me find some relief in that first quarter of 2011.  Jeeesh I want to buy so many games, still trying to wait for a price drop on Dragon Age to play before DA2 comes out.  I missed out on so much awesome before I built my new PC, now I just have a tough time getting myself to turn on my consoles for anything besides watching a movie.
