I am on chapter 3 and I have noticed when my unit died it spoke as if he was simply returning to base to recover rather than giving a final farewell before death. I am guessing the early chapters are a grace period and i am going to get these units back later?
I seem to recall you collect stars by pointing the remote at the screen and shoot it at the enemies or the like in Super Mario Galaxy 1. Does this come back in SMG2? Is it an important ability needed for collecting all the hidden collectibles and the like? Are there other usages of motion control besides the shooting stars?
Crowd control is key to survival on the harder difficulties. Try to get two to three crowd control of some sort as soon as possible e.g. warrior's shield smash, mage's ice blast, rogue's sleep powder.
It looks like a solid team based shooter a la Team Fortress 2, but I cant help but feel this is too derivative, at least in terms of what we have come to expect from Blizzard
It was a 2d combat focused action game similar to Castlevania. The crux of the gameplay was a color change system where you can turn your character either blue or red. If the player were to change their color to red, they would be able to dodge red projectiles. By turning blue, they were able to damage blue enemies and so forth. I think there was a quick look EX of it on the site, but I couldn't find it.
Man, Nintendo is getting real goofy with their IP monetization. I don't mind it, it all seems tastefully done. They shouldn't put their characters in sonic games though..
