I'm really looking forward to sneaking around in this world, exploring, scavenging parts to build my own custom super sniper rifle will be good fun. That will be my own personal Main Quest. ;)

Also, Power Armor actually being a thing seems super interesting. I think I remember needing PA back in FA1 in order to enter an irradiated ruin to get some item. Having it fill the function of a Vehicle for safely navigating the wasteland as well as a tool for combat, if heavy firepower is your thing.

I don't care for collectors editions at all, but If I could find one I would buy the stupid Pip Boy edition in a heartbeat...

Not sure how much more powerful this new processor is... Xenoblade footage didn't look great.

The whole package still sounds good though, 3ds has some great games and if we can get some more power out of it then all the better. Looking forward to hearing more actual hands on feedback on this one.

This was awesome. Love hearing Jeff talk about games and gaming like this, always entertaining and informative in a good balance.

Sounds like a guy with a good head on his shoulders. That attitude will undoubtedly help build trust with their community. I really hope they get the numbers in sales to back up their standpoint on this.

Actually think I might go pre-order this somewhere if it's available yet. This needs to be supported.

Personally, the only game that is even remotely interesting on either of those lists is Watchdogs. But seeing what is in the works for next year and forward It's still pretty exciting stuff. Looking forward to that PS4.

This is unbelievably sad. I guess it is a testament to what Ryan and the Guys built in Giant Bomb that it feels like a personal loss and not just someone that I saw a picture of, or whose article I read.

My deepest condolences to all of his family and friends. He will be sorely missed, even by someone like me, who never even met him.

Bioshock Infinite is a decent game.

Decent.

Yeah, I liked it, it's pretty good, but seeing so many people talk about how the ending was SO MIND BLOWING AMAZING OH WOW just makes me think I'm in an alternate reality myself. Like I said, pretty good overall, but I kind of dread hearing this as "GOTY lock!" for the rest of the year.

This, more or less exactly how i felt. The following thought and opinions are just that, my own thoughts and opinions, not an objective statement of the game or its quality.

It is a very well made and polished game that just didn't reach me like it reached others I guess, and thus I felt more or less untouched by it. I played it, put it down and now it has left not a mark. Personally think the atmosphere and artistic presentation of Rapture was far superior to that of Columbia, as it had a more defined sense of place, of being real and worn. Infinite felt more like a "game" world, with a story that tried just a bit too hard to be different. many of the twists were telegraphed, not in detail perhaps but enough of it so that when the reveal came it felt less than impressive. The twist in Bioshock was actually pretty mind blowing, even more so because it had been right there in your face the whole time and I had been honestly given the chance to see and question it time and time again but I didn't! that is why it worked so well and had such huge impact on me personally. The new universe felt implausible where the first Bioshock actually was able to make me buy into the fiction and suspend my disbelief.

To each his/her own i guess. I'm happy people liked it and that it gets good reviews, and for those gushing over it, I envy your experience, as the one I had was far less exciting. As for the game itself, a lot of work obviously went into it, so congrats to the team on a job well done, my own personal opinion notwithstanding. Guess it just wasn't my cup of tea, so to speak. ;)

I would echo what many have said here already; getting into MH3U was not that bad... maybe a bit tedious the first few hours of trash mob hunts. My only other try at MH was MH2Freedom(i think...), though i bought it in Japan with my PSP and there was just way too many indecipherable icons with way too many tiny unreadable Kanji for me to really get into it. ;)

I'm playing on the 3ds, so no multi, but the game itself has not been too difficult this far, so long as I keep my eyes open and use a weapon that I'm comfortable with. Personally I am partial to the heavy hits of the Greatsword which seems to fill my needs damage wise and still leaves me pretty mobile.

Just starting on the 5 star quests now, and the enemies keep getting bigger and more interesting.

Hoping to get a chance to play some co-op at some point, but i doubt i will be buying a WiiU for it.

Nice writeup, games like this deserve it on sites like this. There is an experience to be had here that is unique and very satisfying. I bet with a stable co-op partner this game could be "the game" that you play for a long time.

Also, livestream of Patrick, Vinny and whoever else in the gang wants to brave the monsters would be awesome! =)

Strange seeing this after playing Warframe, pretty amazing how much of it survived into Warframe after all that time though!

Good on them for sticking with what they believed in and actually getting it all the way there. What little i have played of warframe showed great promise, but as someone else mentioned the exceedingly high cost of new frames and weapons makes it somewhat booring to grind through. Was a bit since i played it now though so it might have gotten a bit more exciting... I really did love the concept and the feel of it, it just lacked some substance to keep me coming back.
