Never been a Nintendo fan, never had one of their consoles but for some strange reason this is actually making me curious... I think it's mostly because of the flash with the screen moving back and forth and the sweet way of using the tablet as an inventory. It does look pretty slick, it's just too bad it looks super uncomfortable to handle. Will be keeping an eye on this one for sure though.
Guess i need to count myself among the lucky minority since i have only had a couple of freezes and a some quest glitches on the 360. Loving the game though, almost done with my first play through and still itching to get back in there all over again with a different type of character.
I read this in a bloggpost by gpbpmike. 9/13 "Deployed an update to the mobile site. Here are some changes since Friday. Video Support Update: I took out the video tags and replaced them with links straight to the files. This should help with all of those phones that can play the files, but are having trouble with the tag itself. I'm looking at you palm pre. I also changed the file to be the mobile version (smaller bitrate) for those 3g connections. "
Just wanted to ask if this is intended as a final thing or just a temporary solution? But i really dislike having the video downloaded when i do have a good connection and want to stream something right then. Wouldn't a separate link just below the stream for direct download give everyone what they want? This for me was the key part of the site, being able to jump in and stream a video whenever, wherever. Just wanted to check what the plans were for this part, and maybe if there is some local workaround that i can do in my browser to make it stream these anyway or something like that. As it is my browser gives me the choice to open the file with the internet application, but that still just downloads the file too.
Just wanted to get some idea of where this was going. And besides this point, is there any plan to allow for pinch zooming? It is nice to be able to get the text size up some from the default imo, it works as is, but sometimes getting the text up would be nice.
Looks kind of like the first one, with more contrast? Not sure how i feel about the voiced protagonist, but if it means the followup will have the same level of cinematic polish as the ME games, i am on board. Bioware is probably the only other developer besides Blizzard that have my complete trust, they know their stuff. While i prefer DA to ME, the crossover in style sounds promising.
Kind of feels like it's SO stupid, it might actually work... in a stupid kind of way, will defenitely be keeping an eye on the development of this one. ;)
" 1 day before my b'day. I'll be away for a whole month though so it's bad timing. By the time I get back I probably won't be able to win a game. :( I bet it'll get the classic blizzard delay. I'm saying mid-late August. "
Nice, same for me, happy birthday to us! funny how things work out. Though i must say, these 12 years and the rise of the Warhammer RTS series has dulled my passion for SC2, i have no doubts whatsoever that it will be an excellent game by any standards and i will definitely play it. Looking forward to seeing what it turns out to be, especially the single-player campaign. Anyway, nice to have a date, cheers to Blizzard and to all of us for our patience finally paying off! ;)
