@andreassss: That was cracking me up. Just looking right at the giant cylinder encompassing the entire horizon. " I haven't seen the cylinder in quite some time".
I don't buy the argument that Stadia has a limited library still. The library is getting there and they have been pretty good to have at least a handful of new games each month to play. September is huge for Stadia with something like 8 to 12 games coming over the month. I can't remember exactly but Stadia isn't going anywhere.
I loved Jeff's positive outlook on streaming and his discovery that Stadia is actually some awesome technology. If more people would actually give Stadia a try before bashing it or if their only impressions weren't from opening month of the service then I think they could actually get some positive feedback on the service to improve the rest of its offerings. Hope Jeff dips back into it more in the future as no one else at Giantbomb will as they all seem to have an irrational hate towards it, I guess because its Google.
Wow two of some of my favorite games of all time. What a huge surprise. Dungeon of the Endless was my game of the year the year it came out. It's extremely hard and unforgiving though even when you understand all the systems involved.
Endless Space is perhaps one of the best 4xis game out there. Amplitude studios knows how to make one hell of a game but they have been criminally overlooked even though their games are exceptional.
I feel like Brad is mis remembering Tomb Raider. It had all those things he is talking about. It had wide open areas you could go at from different angles and stuff to come back to get after you had gotten upgrades later into the game.
Glad this one seems as good as the first. I really loved the first Tomb Raider and would love to have more of that... EXCEPT it's not on PC which is the platform I played it on!!
I don't get why they went so serious with this game. It should of been a fun little adventure similar to the Lego Movie in tone. Seemed like a natural fit.
