I've been playing for around 8 hours on Stadia and so far I am having a good time. I really like the progression system a lot. The world feels oddly dead and lifeless even though it is densely populated. Lots of buggy stuff going on if you look for it. People not having any issues are people who aren't looking for issues. I had the broken mission with Victor where I cut off his dialog short then couldn't progress like others have had. Lots of floating guns. I posted a lot in the discord channel for the game on the discord so I'll post the highlights here.

The Ai is really bad especially when taking into account multiple people in your party like in the first real mission of the game. Look how the AI reacts to you.

A random assault mission I was on alerted reinforcements but they never showed up. Wonder where they went?

Not a bug but this gun is extremely OP and enemies don't react to it at all.

Your in cutscene character model seems to revert to a default white person even though I'm playing a person of color.

@mellotronrules This game is far more then it seems. It isn't just about the things you mentioned. The game will over and over surprise you out of nowhere with completely new mechanics and things that you didn't even think the game had. Even 50+ hours in you will have those wtf moments where the game surprises you and whole new possibilities open up. I don't want to spoil what these are but the game just keeps on giving and never stops.

Anyone here watching God of High School? I've been reading the manwha for a decade now or so and it's a real rocky road with that thing but wondering how someone that knows nothing about the IP feels about the show.

I'm a sucker for wings and I love Wing Zero from Endless Waltz. I also love the blaster rifle that splits into 2.

Princess Mononoke hands down, easy.

If you like Tales of games or even if you don't i think Tales of Crestoria is a great new gacha game with an awesome story and interesting characters. Epic Seven is obviously one of the beset and well known ones that has an amazing art style and tons of characters but be prepared to grind gear for randomized stats for all eternity.

Spartacus was perfect for what it wanted to be once it really hit its stride. Loved it! Such good characters.

I'll just play whatever multi platform games come out on Stadia. My PC is garbage and these consoles look expensive. I have such a backlog of games plus big games coming out like Cyberpunk and Avengers that I will be happy for the foreseeable future. And if XCloud turns out to be good I'll probably pick that up too.

I was just curious about what people knew about Stadia and I got the answer I pretty much expected. Hope Stadia gets some more coverage in the future as I think it's pretty mind blowing for what it can do.

@mattnicholas Yep it's free and you can go start a free pro trial if you want or just opt out of pro trial and just try the free option completely and buy games a la carte at https://stadia.google.com. You just need a Gmail account. But personally i don't see the harm in trying out the trial as it will unlock a bunch of games for you to try out during the trial period which I believe is still 2 months till the end of May.
