I love midnight launches.  I've gone to a few.  My favorite was probably Smash Bros.  There was a decent crowd, everyone was stoked, I was hanging with my buddies talking shit about beating them once we got our copies...then we went to my place and kicked eachother's asses til dawn.  
Great memories.

I think if the Dreamcast had lasted longer it would probably get my vote, but as it stands you can't compete with the Genesis.  Great, great console.
