Enjoyed the read. Mass Effect 2 is probably my favourite of the three, thanks to the structure of it. Giving you all those loyalty missions that you can skip and making that final mission so intense - it really feels like everything you've done throughout the game is paying off. It's your team, and your mission, and if you haven't prepared your shit when it comes time to do it, there is no one to blame but yourself.

I'm glad you're going to get the 'best' ME3 playthrough with all the DLC - I was living away from home for nearly a year without an Xbox, so when it came to played ME3, I'd already forgotten any slight spoilers I'd bumped into and had all the DLC that fleshed out the important parts of the ending. Personally, I really enjoyed iy. There are parts of it where relationships with characters pay off; I got extremely giddy during a scene between Shepard and Garrus, while a particular scene with Tali had me laughing for a good 5 minutes afterwards. I won't say much else. Overall, I hope you enjoy it.

Also, I <3 Tali.

I'm gonna sound like I only enjoy TV and video games that have terrible endings, but I really enjoyed Mass Effect 1, 2 and 3 when I played through them all in sequence a few months ago, but got a total LOST vibe from it. For both, I enjoyed every part of what came before the ending so much that despite having disappointing endings, it couldn't sour the experience enough for me to dislike the show or games as a series. I would never defend either endings, but I would still stand by both pieces of entertainment as being, well, amazing.

Endings have a big impact on a lot of peoples opinions on a piece of media, but sometimes it's about the journey and not the destination.

Come on Telltale. Pay that extra cash and get Walking Dead that R18+ and let me play that game already.

GAH.

Living in Australia and not being able to play The Walking Dead is so annoying.

Is it not available here on 360?

Weird as it's on Steam and Australian iOS App Store.

The no R18+ releases applies to the Xbox Live Marketplace, apparently. Telltale had this to say waaaay back in April or something; "Sorry, but due to the OFLC ratings laws in Australia and New Zealand, and the fact that this is a mature game, we do not currently have plans to release the game there on consoles." (Kotaku link ). It technically shouldn't be allowed at all in Australia, but iOS and Steam have different classifications that make it a strange grey area related to our laws. Unfortunately I have no interest in playing on those two services, but that's just me being stubbon and preferring consoles, so I don't hold that against them.

Apparently they're planning to change the classifications early next year and giving us an R18+, but nothing in our government is running too smoothly at the moment so who knows.

EDIT: If you're interested, here's a post from the Telltale forums by "the producer" of the game giving some further explanation on it's absence down under; http://www.telltalegames.com/forums/showpost.php?p=603626&postcount=16

Discovered Imagine Dragons this year, and now one of my favourite bands of all time.

Shout out to The Killers with Battle Born, Muse with The 2nd Law, and Elton John Vs Pnau with Good Morning to the Night as honorable mentions.

Children should be getting a 6-pack of beer, a pack of cigarettes and a pack of condoms for Christmas - Oh, didn't you hear? Letting your kids grow up too quickly is the craze these days.

Personally, I'm agnostic because I have no idea how we came to be or what the universe even really is, and I find it easier to live my life without basing it around a certain faith (or lack of) that I can't truly believe yet. When it comes down to it, my belief is that life is fucking hard sometimes, and if faith (or lack of) makes it easier for you, then it's all yours. Just don't harass other people of their faiths, because fuck you, they are just as entitled to their belief as you are of yours.

@Grimhild: @MariachiMacabre:

Like I said, Australian. I'm sorry that I didn't know the history of your holiday traditions. And, no offence, but I don't care if it came from America, Ireland, or even the Moon. It's owned by America now. It's a holiday version of what you did with the Office.

As an Aussie, I can tell you that it's growing in Australia.

Much to my deep, burning annoyance. Fuck 'merica and its holidays!
