This is crazy talk. If there was any indication that they could have gotten any personal info/CC then they should have said something day one or day two.

Glad I saw this. I hadn't been on my ps3 in 3 weeks and thought my system was getting ready to go when it took my 4 times to log in. I also haven't been getting any automatic downloads but that could be related to the fact that I never turn my ps3 on.

I felt conflicted on the loading screens. The game played fantastic in 1080p on my 9800GTX which I didn't expect so that was awesome but the loading was super experience breaking for me. Maybe I'm crazy but I would have preferred a little bit longer loading if they just left me in game with some occasional dialogue.

The worst was definitely anytime you felt like you should be moving quickly. Turning a corner and looking around for an exit and hitting a loading screen felt super bad. Basically my only complaint about Portal 2.

People absolutely hate change but I'd say he deserves to at least be involved on the Bombcast until after E3. He knows his stuff, he actually plays videogames, and is funny. You can't really judge something on one event. If they could just get him a better mic then it would already been better.

On the cheap for sure. I just got the dlc when it was on sale for 5 dollars for an excuse to go back in to ME and remembered how cool everything was about the game. One of those games where you remember how awesome bright colors look on a HDTV.

Tips that some have mentioned but some others too.
Avoid using a gun ever.
Don't be afraid to lookup something if you get stuck. I almost quit playing because I got stuck. Not worth the stress.
Definitely play some of the speedruns after you beat the game. They are almost like playing a different game.

Metacritic is the reason I quit trusting any reviewers besides GB. Lots of deliberate low or high scores just to get site traffic. There are so many things wrong with Metacritic that it is pointless to point them all out but I wouldn't expect anything but garbage from the user reviews. They are doing the same thing that the sites do. They trash a popular game knowing that will cause people to read their nonsense.

I remember buying a Wii just to get Zelda even though I owned a Gamecube. I had waited so long for that game that experiencing it in anything less than 480p widescreen seemed dumb. I justified my purchase in my mind for a long time with that game.

Now I'm 3 weeks in my 3DS and I regret it. I have zero hate for the hardware but the games are so bad. SSF4 is great but I've already played that game on a much better screen with a much better control interface. I don't think you'll see anymore companies launching systems without one of their biggest bangers.

I think the fact that Nintendo has so many timeless franchises is the reason the lack of any at launch is the biggest stunner. Plus the fact that most of us are waiting on N64 ports (kinda like the DS) is the worst part. I fully expect Nintendo to blow it away at E3 with all kinds of first party stuff for the 3DS though.

The failure of the ARG to release the game early was not great. It sucked for anyone who paid any attention to it and got any potatoes. At the end of week it doesn't really matter because the game still came out and was still great so its a non issue now.

The paid accessory hate is straight up dumb. The model they are following can be seen in TF2. They charge money for things that are purely cosmetic or can be achieved or randomly dropped in game. You are paying for convenience. With that money they can justify to continue to support a 4 year old fps with free updates, free maps, and cheap sales to keep the player base up. In Portal 2 it looks like it is just a bunch of silly stuff that has zero bearing on anyone's ability to enjoy co-op.

Also Metacritic is dumb and I wouldn't expect anything different from people leaving user reviews on it.

They are slower than Gears 2. You'll hear that beep and have enough time to dodge it. I think I remember a CliffyB tweet saying they had been tweaked from Gears 2 to be slower too.

I'm seeing a lot less frag wall sticks too, seems like the maps are more closed in so it is better to throw them and hope to get two or three people at once.

It is all about the third party support. Look where Microsoft got with the 360 stealing a great number of third parties to make their console the console of choice for so many years. If Nintendo can release something that will produce better looking games and cool features before a new 360, they'll probably get a ton of sales right off the bat to combat a higher price than the Wii initially was. They can play Microsofts part of the current gen and have all the third party games being better on Super Wii over 360 and PS3 and gain a big market share.
