I'm asking this question because I don't have any other friends who own a Wii U. Do any of you guys have a poor dead zone on your joysticks on your gamepad? I can't figure out if it is my gamepad or if that's just the way it is. My joysticks don't seem to register until they have been pushed about 1/4 toward whatever direction I am trying to register. Any opinions or advice would be greatly appreciated!
It kind of makes sense if you think about it. Nintendo has a disclaimer on every 3ds box that says kids under 7 shouldn't use its 3d feature. Problem solved. Every mom will buy this for their child this Christmas.
It's a strange feeling mourning the loss of an icon you've followed for years. I didn't personally know the Ryan, and he didn't know me. But I've read his words, listened to his voice and laughed along side his jokes since before I became an adult. In that sense, heartbreak like this is a very real, very affecting thing to all of us who looked up to Ryan as a writer and cultural figure. I can safely say that my Tuesday evenings will never be the same as they once were. God Speed Ryan Davis. You're already missed by so many.
@big_jon: I'm with you. I've been on board since Crimson Skies, and I have to say this dashboard thing has been mediocre since the abandonment of the fast moving blade system. And gaming has taken a back seat to the Xbox strategy. (No joke. In the Microsoft retail training, they emphasize how the Xbox audience has a user base that cares more about alternate media than video games.) And Microsoft is the only company I know of that allows a premium service to be polluted by advertisement.
